- How does Host Family Ireland work?
- By completing an application form, Host Families list their criteria (for example, they don't want vegetarians or smokers)
- Using our search form, Guests list their criteria (ex. they want Internet connection, single room and 5 min walk to transport)
- Then the site automatically forwards the guest's details on to the families that match what both parties are looking for.
- It will be up to the family to contact the guest, as he or she won't actually get your contact details unless you give them.

What is the usual fee?
- Currently it's approx € 190 per week per guest in own room with breakfast and evening meal for June to September, and € 165 for rest of the year.
- These rates will be modified by the host family depending on location, distance to transport and so on.
- How do apply to be a host family??
- If you would like to register as a host family, please complete the appropriate application form as fully as possible, either
to host a guest as a member of your family, or to
live independently in your home
